Christine Babcock defended her CIF Cross Country Division II State Championship crown with the sixth fastest time ever at Woodward Park in Fresno.

On a great day under a cloudless sky, Christine finished with a time of 17:04, the fastest time of the day. She finished the Division II race ahead of the entire field by 40 seconds, setting a Division II record and remaining undefeated.
