The Warriors accomplished their season goals of making it to the California State Cross Country Championships (full meet results) and completed their final races on Saturday at Woodward Park in Fresno.

The boys team achieved a Top 10 finish by placing 9th with a score of 325 points and team time of 1:23:05. 

With a total spread of 18 seconds (from number one to number five scoring runner), the Warriors were led by senior Michael Evans (left) with a 67th place finish at 16:28. 

Evans was closely followed by senior Derrick Fleming (71st, 16:29), junior Dillon Scott (90th, 16:38), junior Josh Kingsland (97th, 16:44), and senior Cameron Mahon (102nd, 16:46) as well as junior Jorge Herrera at 17:38 and sophomore Daniel Toberty at 18:39.  Complete D3 Boys results. 

The girls team also ran well on Woodward Park's 5000 meter course by placing 16th with a score of 368 points and team time of 1:38:50.  Sophomore Nicole (Coco) Evans (right) led the girls with a 25th place finish at 18:43. 

Evans was followed by sophomores Molly Babcock (54th, 19:07), Annie Chan (93rd, 19:42), and Marissa Lara (111th, 19:57) and senior Youval Yadlin (160th, 21:21) as well as senior Olivia Barriga (166th, 21:28) and freshman Alexis Abad at 22:46.  Complete D3 Girls results.
