Gabrielle Scott won her heat of the 400 meter dash with a time of 55.28 at the California State Track and Field Championship Prelims on Friday evening at Buchanan High School in Clovis (Fresno), CA.  Watch the video of her race. 

In doing so, Scott qualifies as the fifth seed in Saturday's finals.  Her race is scheduled for 7:11pm.
