"We're out of excuses for losing anymore," Woodbridge coach Alan Dugard said about his Warriors (4-15 Overall, 1-4 Sea View League) who made three errors. "We're playing good, aggressive ball but we never put the hammer down and take it to the bank."
Woodbridge shortstop Hannah Dowling was 1 for 3 with an RBI.
FROM THE PRESS BOX -- WARRIORS STRUGGLING
This has been a tough year for Woodbridge's softball team, which fell to 1-4 in league and 4-15 overall.
Coach Alan Dugard remains upbeat and is trying to keep the spirits of his players up.
"I told them, we're the spoilers now," Dugard said. "We're just going to have to start playing a little different softball. We have to put our brand on the game from now on rather than someone else put their brand on.
"We let people get away, and from now on, we have to start putting people away. They realize that and they would like to win more games."
