Both Girls and Boys Varsity Track & Field teams won in a dual meet against Laguna Hills Thursday afternoon at Laguna Hills.

The Varsity Girls won 86-49, leading throughout the meet.  Multiple-event winners included seniors Christine Babcock (1600m, 3200m), Kyle Wolff (4x100m Relay, 400m, 300m Low Hurdles), Erica Teen (4x100m Relay, 100m High Hurdles), and freshman Gabrielle Scott (4x100m Relay, 200m).

The Varsity Boys won 72½-63½.  The meet was close throughout, with the Boys needing at least a third place in the 3200m and a win in the 4x400m Relay at the end of the day.  Sophomore Derrick Fleming finished with a 2nd place in the 3200m and the Boys 4x400m Relay team won easily to close out the win.  Multiple-event winners included seniors Scott Muniz (110m High Hurdles, 300m Intermediate Hurdles, Triple Jump) and Hector De Los Santos (400m, 4x400m Relay).

Come out and see this exciting team, made up of both CIF-level veterans and highly-skilled newcomers, compete at the Irvine Invitational on Saturday at Irvine Stadium.  Running events begin at 7:45am; field events at 8:00am; complete meet schedule.
