Uniforms
1) The uniforms (sweat top, sweat bottom, jersey, shorts) are provided by the team at no charge. Additionally, athletes usually purchase biker shorts (boys and girls) and running bras (girls) that are worn under the uniform. These undergarments must be of a solid color. Athletes that make up one of the relay teams must have matching undergarments (length and color).
2) They must be returned in good shape at the end of the season. If uniforms are lost or damaged, the following fees must be paid: sweat tops ($60), sweat bottoms ($45), jerseys ($40), shorts ($25)
3) Uniforms are to be washed in cold water only and air-dried.
4) T-shirts and other garments worn under the school uniform not only have to be of a solid color they cannot have any writing on them other than a business card-sized WHS logo.
5) No visible jewelry of any type is to be worn (this includes the cancer bracelets, hair clips, religious necklaces, tongue posts, etc. etc. etc.)
6) Uniform tops need to be tucked in at the start of each race.
7) Jerseys are not to be taken off in the field of competition at any time. The athlete will be disqualified if he/she removes the jersey after the event is finished.
8) Athletes will be assigned an “F” grade in the class if uniforms are not returned or paid for at the end of the season.
