Practices
1) Start at 2:25pm with 2 laps of jogging for everyone. We meet every day and every Saturday regardless of the weather (unless otherwise announced) during the season. If we have inclement weather, we meet in the quad or in the gym.
2) Practices normally end at 4:30pm for the majority of athletes. If we go to do hill workout, this will add another 45 minutes to our workout time. Advanced athletes start their practices on Tuesdays at 4:30pm at Irvine Stadium.
3) Everyone needs to be at our practices each day dressed for a workout. Injured or sick athletes that attend school during the day are expected to be dressed out at practice. Injured or sick athletes will be expected to walk, stretch, lift weights (whenever possible), or assist coaches. Attending classes during the school day and coming back with illness 6th period excuse will count as a missed practice.
4) Doctor, dental, etc. appointments need to be made for Wednesdays and Fridays after 4:00pm or the last appointment available whenever possible to minimize missing practices.
5) Injured or ill athletes that come to school must come to practice and the coaches will modify their participation accordingly.
