Boys Lacrosse Takes 3rd Place in City Tournament

Lacrosse for 2008Woodbridge 4, Northwood 6; Woodbridge 14, University 4:  The Boys Lacrosse team split games in the Irvine City Tournament and took third place on Saturday at Irvine Stadium.

Woodbridge 5, Northwood 7:  In an exciting intra-city contest that challenged both squads, Northwood boys lacrosse defeated Woodbridge Thursday afternoon at Northwood.  The sideline was energized with enthusiastic support for both teams. 

Boys Lacrosse Tough Against Top-10 Tesoro

Woodbridge 5, Tesoro 8:  The Warriors fought hard against #10 ranked Tesoro (2-3) in a non-league game Friday at Alton Park.  Woodbridge was led by Jeff Cramer who had 4 goals.  John Barns had 9 saves in goal.

  

Boys Lacrosse Wins in Overtime at Trabuco Hills

Woodbridge 8, Trabuco Hills 7 (OT):  The Warriors won in overtime Thursday afternoon against the Mustangs (0-4) at Trabuco Hills.  Jeff Cramer scored the winning goal in OT.  John Barns had 14 saves in goal.

  

Woodbridge (1-2 Sea View League, 3-4 Overall) plays again on Friday at 3:30pm against Tesoro in a non-league match at Alton Park.  Please plan to stop by and see this young team in their first year; they will love having your support. 

Boys Lacrosse Win Monday, Lose Close Battle Tuesday

Mon, Mar 3rd - Woodbridge 15, San Juan Hills 1:  The Warriors won handily in a game played Monday at Alton Park. 

  

Tue, Mar 4th - Woodbridge 6, Capistrano Valley 7:  In a close match-up, the Warriors (2-2) lost on Tuesday at Capo Valley.  Goalie John Barns had an outstanding game, finishing with 17 saves.
