Mar 8, 2010 -- Wk 2 Laguna Hills & Irvine Invitational

REVIEW:  We enjoyed a nice start to our 2010 season and our results last week were impressive!  On Thursday, all 5 divisions scored victories against Beckman High School.

  • Varsity Boys 76-51, 1-0 season record
  • Varsity Girls 89-38, 1-0 season record
  • JV Boys 58-42, 1-0 season record
  • JV Girls 77-41, 1-0 season record
  • F/S Boys 72-33, 1-0 season record

Even though Beckman may have been the first track meet for some of our athletes, the follow-through and cooperation with coaches and meet officials made this event most enjoyable.

Mar 1, 2010 –- Wk 1 Beckman & Earl Engman Relays

REVIEW:  Wet and wild, but mission accomplished on Saturday!  While some teams/athletes would have used the rain as a reason not to compete, our team took a needed step forward and is more prepared for Beckman as a result.  Good enthusiasm by our athletes during Time Trials and cooperation helping to facilitate the meet.  The primary benefit of staging this event was for our team to learn what to expect and how to operate during upcoming meets.  Our goal for returning athletes is to show new athletes how to properly prepare for their events and for new athletes to learn from them.
