Woodbridge's Girls Track team took a big step towards securing its THIRD CIF-SS title in the school's history at the CIF-SS Prelims.  Competing at the CIF-SS Div. II Prelims at Moorpark High School, the Warrior girls received stellar performances from their studettes Christine Babcock, Kyle Wolff, Gabrielle Scott, Becky Crouse, and Erica Teen to establish themselves as one of three teams that can win the title.

The 2008 Sea View League Track and Field Championships completed Friday evening at Irvine Stadium with ten Warriors advancing to the CIF Prelims next Saturday.  View the League Finals Results.

The 2008 Sea View League Track and Field Championships conclude this week with the Finals on Friday at Irvine Stadium.  Field events (non-varsity) start at 4:00pm and running events start at 5:00pm.  Schedule for 2008 Sea View League Finals. 

WHS Boys 45, Huntington Beach 90;  WHS Girls 88, Huntington Beach 48:  Before a large, enthusiastic home crowd, the Warriors Girls Track team established early dominance over Huntington Beach to complete the regular dual meet Sea View League season.  After having lost the week before, the girls finish with a League record of 4-1.

On the boys side, the Oilers showed their superiority in sprints and field events to outdistance the Warriors.  The boys finish with a League record of 1-4.
